The Chen Shuren Memorial Hall is located at 10, Shuqian Road, next to the office building of the Dongshan District People's Government. The hall is a memorial building constructed on the site of the former residence "Heaven Tree Garden" of Mr. Chen Shuren, one of the founders of the Lingnan school of painting. The residence was destroyed in the War of Resistance against Japan. Opened on November 26, 1988, the hall is an arch building with inlaid white marble and provides exhibitions on two floors: the first floor is the Lingnan Gallery, where exhibitions of artistic works are presented from time to time, and the second floor displays calligraphic and painting works by Chen Shuren, as well as historic documents on him. Also standing on the site is the "Sifu" Building, honoring Chen Fu, son of Chen Shuren and a revolutionary martyr.
