Yuntai Garden lies in front of Yuntai Peak of Baiyun Mountain, and is scattered with precious flowers from home and abroad all year round, thus it got its present name. It is a new scenic spot in Baiyun scenic zone, and is China's large landscape-style garden designated for appreciating precious flowers and trees, known as "Pearl of the City of Flowers".
With an area of 120,000 square meters and Canada's famous Butchart Gardens as its blueprint, Yuntai Garden is designed by the Guangzhou Garden Architectural Design Institute and is currently the China's largest landscape-style garden with both oriental and occidental flavor.
Yuntai Garden aggregates the quintessence of oriental and occidental garden architecture, flowers of four seasons at home and abroad, the friendship between Guangzhou and cities around the world, becoming a window of Guangzhou's tourism. In the garden there is a place named "Friendship Hall", where the national flowers of Guangzhou's sister cities are displayed.
